TRAIL RATINGS

Know your level before you drop in. Always pre-ride a trail before committing to features.

GREEN - EASY

Smooth, predictable surface. Small obstacles, gentle gradients. Suitable for beginners and families getting started.

BLACK - DIFFICULT

Challenging technical features, steep and loose terrain, large drops. For experienced riders only. Pre-ride before committing.

BLUE - INTERMEDIATE

More technical features, steeper sections, obstacles to navigate. Suitable for riders with basic skills and trail experience.

DOUBLE BLACK - EXTREME

Highly exposed. extremely technical. No run-outs. Suitable only for experienced riders who have assessed the feature on foot first.

Ride to your ability. Ratings are a guide, not a challenge. Conditions vary daily, whats a blue in dry summer can be a black after rain. When in doubt, walk it out.

RULES & ETIQUETTE

We share this forest. Respect the trails, Respect other riders, respect the builders. Ignorance is no excuse.

RIDE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Trails are two direction unless clearly marked. Please note all gravity trails are one way only. Never ride up a downhill trail. A head on collision at speed can be fatal.

STAY OFF WET TRAILS

If it has rained in the last 24 hours, stay home. Riding muddy trails can cause deep ruts that take hours of volunteer work to repair.

PRE-RIDE FEATURES BEFORE YOU SEND

Trail conditions change daily. Walk or roll a trail first to inspect drops and landings before hitting them at speed.

DOUBLE BLACK - EXTREME

Highly exposed. extremely technical. No run-outs. Suitable only for experienced riders who have assessed the feature on foot first.

DOGS ON LEASH

Dogs must be on a leash at all times and kept away from trail corridor. Loose dogs and fast moving bikes are dangerous.

YIELD & COMMUNICATE

Call "rider" out in clear voice at blind corners. Yield to uphill riders. Be courteous, everyone is here for the same reason.

WEAR A HELMET

A properly fitted helmet is mandatory at all times. Full face strongly recommended on black and double black trails.

STAY ON MARKED TRAILS

Do not create shortcuts or new lines. Unauthorised trail building damages vegetation and can jeopardise our permit to operate.
